Book Blogger Appreciation Week (BBAW) September 13th -17th
I am pretty new to the book blogging community and from what I gather, there are seldom any events that unite our community and acknowledge those of us who have made great contributions to the field of book blogging. Book Blogging is a major influence in some of our lives and i find it commendable when someone takes the time out appreciate what we do. Book Blogger Appreciation week serves to do this and much more.
BBAW is a week long festival; from September 13th - 17th, celebrating the community of book bloggers and their contribution to preserving a culture of literacy through book reviews and recommendations, reading reflections, and general bookish chat. Some of the events include daily blogging topics, blogger interview swaps, special guest posts, and much more. BBAW also includes an awards component. The BBAW Awards recognize the outstanding contribution that book bloggers all over the world make to bring attention to all genres of books.
