International Women's Day- Great Women in History

Today's list is dedicated to Great Women in History. These are some of the women who stood up for their belief's and showed a lot of determination and courage. These women were great leaders, warriors, visionaries and humanitarians.

As we spend the rest of the month celebrating women, lets look back at the ones who paved the way for us and pledge to empower the ones who are our future.

I've been reading a couple of books by Michelle Moran. Both books are about Egyptian women. They are Nefertiti and The Heretic Queen (Nefertari). Both are pretty good reads.

Hey, thanks for your suggestions. Nefertiti is on my personal list. She supported her husband at a critical stage in his reign.
