International Ideas Month and International Women's Day
March is an important month. This month we will be celebrating International Ideas Month and International Women's Day on March 8th.
Here at Bookventures Book Club, we will celebrate the two occasions by posting some great items on the field thorough the month. Expect great features about ideas on Mondays and items on women on Tuesdays.
Today it's all about ideas.
March is dedicated to all ideas whether they are grand or small, because everyone of us has ideas and we should help nurture those ideas and help bring them to fruition.
So without further or due, here are some great ideas to kick-start International Ideas month.
1. If you own your own business, this month will be a great time to start brainstorming new ideas that would take your company forward. It will also be a great opportunity to start implementing some of those ideas that you had in the past year.
2. Book Club managers can also benefit from this month. Change up the routine of your club. Implement some new ideas that would keep your readers momentum and generate excitement about your reads.
3. Do you have a friend who has a great idea on how to reduce traffic in your area? Or perhaps he/she has a great idea that would reduce global warming. Then help nurture his/her ideas by encouraging them to share it with others. Who knows, their idea could be implemented one day and they'll have you to thank for pushing them to share it.
4. Exchange your ideas! Its a great way to network with people who are interested in the same things that you are. One website that allows you to do this is www.whynot.net The website allows you to vote, comment and track eachother's ideas, all the while gaining further support for them.
Hope you guys enjoy the rest of the week. I have an exam tomorrow so my Tuesday posts will be delayed.
